Ski tour to the Schönleitenhaus

The untouched nature you canexprience the best at a ski tour. Get to know the Hochschwab. At the foot of the Hochschwab invites you, for example, the tour from the Aflenzer Bürgeralm to the Schönleitenhaus. From the "Bürgergraben" (Path Number 6) you go through the "Jauring Graben" to the Windgrube (1000m above the sea level) and to the Schönleitenhaus. The Schönleitenhaus spoils you with culinary delights and traditional regional plates, like the "Fedlkoch".

Ski tour to the Häuslalm

For beginners the tour to the Häuslalm is ideal. The alpine inn Bodenbauer in St. Ilgen is the starting point of the tour. Then you go 2 hours allong the hiking path to the Häuslalm. Directly beneath the alpine inn Bodenbauer in the old "Bodenbauerkeusche" the Hochschwab museum is located, which tells the interessting stories of the Hochschwab area and which is worth a visit.

Ski tour to the Hochschwab

A demanding tour with a time of ascent of 5,5 hours leads directly to the Hochschwab, the area with the most chamois. Starting point of the tour is the restaurant Seeberghof in Seewiesen, near Turnau. Then you hike to the "Untere Tullwitz" to the "Florlhütte", the "Franzosenkreuz at the "Voistalerhütte", to the "Oberen Tullwitz" via the Graf Meran path to the Schiestlhaus. At the summit of the Hochschwab, you have an great and impressive view over the whole region of the Hochsteiermark.

Tip: Divide the tour into two days, and stay one night at the Schiestlhaus and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets directly at the summit. Please note the weather report!

Ski tour Turnauer Hochanger

Another ski tour, is the tour Turauer Hochanger via 7 hills. It is specially secure from avalanches and snow is guaranted. The mountain Hochanger is located at the Styrian Seeberg, the tour leads from the Seebergsattel to the Gailberg, further to the Karlkörgerl to the Westklamm Hochanger.
