The most eastern region of the Hochsteiermark offers guests, who are interested in culture, sports and families various possibilities to spend the holidays.

The home of the Austrian poet Peter Rosegger, the Waldheimat,  tells you with the help of its museums interesting facts about the live of the Styrian poet. Mürzzuschlag is the birth place of winter sports. The museum Winter!Sport!Museum! shows you interesting stories and facts about it. The museum SÜDBAHN museum shows for example, how the world heritage Semmering railway track was built. The compositor Johannes Brahms spent in Mürzzuschlag his summer holidays.
